Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our church, programming or mission.
Laura began her appointment to Lakewood United Methodist Church in July 2007. She previously served the Cardington Circuit UMC. Laura attended the Methodist Theological School in Ohio where she received her Masters of Divinity and served several churches while a student intern. She met her best friend and husband, Michael, during her time at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. Laura and Michael, a school principal, have three beautiful and courageous daughters, Mikayla and Liliana, and Molly.
Laura loves connecting LUMC to the Lakewood, Ohio community - discovering new and radical ways for people to experience the Gospel. She enjoys meeting new people, developing new relationships and walking alongside people on their faith journey. She is passionate about exercise, and you can often find her prayer running or playing on the soccer field. Laura also spends time cheering on the Cavs, Indians, Browns, and Ohio State or volunteering at the schools. When not in the office, she feels called to be present in the community, always looking for ways to connect people to LUMC.
