Experience God’s love through worship, discipleship and membership

There is a variety of ways to KNOW GOD through the adult ministries. Study and growth opportunities through small groups and community initiatives are a focus for us. We welcome all who are interested in learning more about KNOWING GOD through these opportunities.
Adult Sunday School classes which meet Sundays at 11:05 a.m.
ALDERSGATE is made up of people of various ages, occupations and interests. Guests are always welcome. We meet for coffee, conversation, and an organized program in Room 115. Our programs are educational, thought-provoking and sometimes just fun. We study a wide variety of topics: religion, spirituality, health, current events, and social issues, to name a few. No program is complete without an exchange of ideas and a lively discussion. There are several social events each year, including a fall clambake and a Christmas progressive dinner. Other events might be a dinner, movie, game night, or tour.
CHRISTIAN HOMEBUILDERS is a class of seniors who welcome all ages to their programs in the Hospitality Room. Our programs feature speakers, class-led discussions, and study sessions. Socials include a Christmas dinner with a white elephant gift exchange and a June luncheon.
MODERN ADULT DISCIPLE CLASS (the MAD Class) meets off Daniels Hall. Guests are welcome at any time; the class is very informal. We explore a wide range of topics each Sunday — some spiritual, many educational. The usual format is mostly discussions, but periodically we use DVDs. We read and review books covering a wide range of topics with lively but respectful discussions. Socials include apple picking, Christmas pot luck, game nights, family picnics, and attending plays at the Beck Center to name just a few.
