WORSHIP WITH US IN A STYLE THAT SPEAKS TO YOU

THE AWAKENING SERVICE

Awakening is a contemplative worship experience held in Yoder Chapel. This service offers Communion each week. It is a time for reflection on scripture and spiritual renewal, a chance to slow down and focus on Christ, allowing God to speak to us in a time of quiet and contemplation. Join us. Leave the stresses of your week at the foot of the cross and go forth with thanksgiving for God’s grace in your life.

No child care is available at this service time.

THE TRADITIONAL SERVICE

Traditional worship enables followers of Christ to renew their spiritual life through the familiarity of tradition: liturgy, classical organ, hymns, anthems, prayer, scripture, and the morning message which are all included in this service in the sanctuary.

Children are welcome to remain in the worship service with their parents but are also invited to attend an age appropriate church school class in the education wing during this service.

Lakewood United Methodist Church is blessed with a wonderful group of volunteers who give of their time on Sunday mornings to pick up those who could not otherwise get to church. Our van is equipped with a wheelchair lift and ample room for passengers. This service is available for the Traditional service at 9:45 a.m. If you are interested, please contact the church at office@lkwdumc.org or 216-226-8644.

THE IMPACT SERVICE

Impact is a come-as-you-are alternative worship experience. The service is led by exciting musicians and singers. Although families are encouraged to worship together, church school is available during this service for children.

There are many people in our community who are seeking a new way to worship God. Some may not yet know about Jesus and the Good News. Some may have wandered away from the church or become bored with traditional worship. At Impact we are anything but traditional. The Impact Band leads us in contemporary Christian music as well as secular music that speaks to our message. We use media and video clips to aid our themed message and worship. Pastor Laura works with a worship team to create memorable and experiential worship that speaks to Christians in the 21st century. Like us on Facebook.
