Youth Group

Youth Group is for youth in 6th-12th grade. We meet every Sunday evening from 5:30-7:30pm at the church in Daniel’s Hall and the Youth Lounge. Everyone has dinner together then after dinner the Middle School and High School Youth Divide up and an interactive lesson is taught as well as games and activities. ALL YOUTH ARE WELCOME. We have many great outings have been planned for this year!

Confirmation

Confirmation is an optional commitment that is being offered to youth in 7th grade and up!

What is confirmation?

Confirmation in The United Methodist Church is a time of intentional preparation, leading to the first public profession of faith. During this time young persons "make firm" what has gone before: God's prevenient grace, baptism, the teaching and witness of parents and other persons of faith, the teachings and life together in the church, the student's own growing faith. Youth are invited to claim for themselves the name Christian and the name United Methodist. Confirmation is a significant step in the journey of faith.

Youth Sunday Morning

Middle school and high school Sunday school is offered from 11-11:30am. At 11:30am the youth have the opportunity to go to the Impact service or stay in their class until noon.

Youth Bell Choir

Our Youth Bell Choir is Directed by John Wrabel and meets for instruction approximately twice a month and performs during the traditional service a few times a year.

Youth Mission Trip

All youth who will be entering 9th grade are invited to participate in our annual mission trip. This year we will be going to Detroit, Michigan, July 11th-16th.
